About Us

Mary F. Stewart, Esq.
Attorney at Law

Mary has been practicing consumer bankruptcy law since 1993.  She has worked as a law clerk for two U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judges for the District of New Hampshire –the late, Honorable James E. Yacos, Chief Bankruptcy Judge, and the Honorable J. Michael Deasy. For much of her legal career, she has worked as a solo practitioner specializing in consumer bankruptcy issues. More recently, Mary has teamed with Attorney Krista Atwater on cases addressing mortgage lending abuses.

Mary is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and continues to consult on cases for the New Hampshire Bar Association on a pro-bono basis. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and her law degree with honors from Vermont Law School. Mary lives in Concord with her two children.

Nicholas J. Manolaros, CP
Paralegal

Nick joined Mary Stewart Law, PLLC in October 2008. Formerly a news writer and producer with Cable News Network, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism-Mass Communication from Emerson College. Nick holds twin Certificates in Paralegal Studies from New Hampshire Technical Institute and Boston University. He has worked as a guardian ad litem for Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire. In 2008, Nick was awarded his CP/CLA certification by the National Association of Legal Assistants. He is a Notary Public for the State of New Hampshire and a member of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire. Nick currently resides in Manchester.
